Q: Do I have to assemble my LTW product when I receive it?

A: Nope! Unless otherwise specified, our products ship fully assembled so that your team can immediately use your purchased LTW product.

Ordering FAQ

Q: How can I place an order?

A: Standard product orders can be placed on our website. For quoted products, we accept purchase orders (sent to Accounting@LTW1.com) and credit card purchases by phone. If you choose to order via purchase order, include on the document the below terms that apply to your company, as well as your LTW quote number (the Bxxxx number on your quote).

Q: Does LTW offer discounts?

A: Yes! See our Discounts page to see options like our Volume Discount, which starts at just 5 like units purchased.

Q: What are your payment terms?

A: For new customers, our standard payment terms are 50% down payment, balance due when the order is shipped. For existing customers, our standard payment terms are NET30. Different payment terms apply to custom and large orders.

Shipping FAQ

Q: How soon can I get an LTW product?

A: The standard lead time for most products is 4-6 weeks from our receipt of an order. For “MTO” Made To Order products, the standard lead time is 6-8+ weeks. All standard lead times are subject to the current workload of LTW’s manufacturing department.

LTW products have the opportunity to be approved for a shorter lead time with a 15% Expedite Fee, depending on the manufacturing department’s availability. If you need a product in shorter than its standard lead time, let your LTW ergonomics expert know before you place an order. They will discuss your proposed lead time with the manufacturing department managers, who will judge capacity. If accepted, LTW will offer you an earlier ship date and add the 15% Expedite Fee to your quote.

Q: Are shipping costs included in LTW quotes?

A: No. If you choose to have LTW arrange the shipping, that is billed at the time of shipment, separate from the product payment.

Alternatively, you may choose to use your own shipping provider if preferred.

Q: What shipping terms does LTW offer?

A: LTW suggests CIF, or “door to port,” for most situations. Check out this terms document by Supply Chain Solutions, an international shipping company.

Maintenance FAQ

Q: Is preventative maintenance needed for LTW products?

A: Our products are designed to withstand just about anything you do to them and typically won’t require maintenance. However, we do recommend using a factory dry PTFE lubricant on the inner slider frame legs on a monthly basis or as needed. See more information on LTW PM here.

Q: Are LTW products covered by a warranty?

A: LTW products ship with a limited lifetime structural warranty and a one-year parts replacement on all other components. Leave the LTW serial number plate on the product for identification and support.

Items that are not warrantied include any powder coated, painted, or other applied finishes.
