Approved comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized automatically.

Information Collected Automatically

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make our site work correctly, remember your preferences, and help us understand how visitors use the site. For full details, see Cookies and CookieYes Consent Management below.

Analytics Data (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with LTW1.com. Google Analytics automatically collects:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or search terms that brought you here
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region — not street-level)

This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Server and Log Data

Our web server automatically records standard log data, including IP addresses, browser user agent strings, and pages requested. This data is used for security monitoring and is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Uploaded Images

If you upload images to our website, be aware that images may contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS) that other visitors could download and extract. We recommend removing location data from images before uploading.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries, quote requests, and customer service questions
  • To process and fulfill orders, including sending order confirmations and shipping notifications
  • To set up and manage your account
  • To send the LTW Ergo Ed newsletter (only if you have subscribed)
  • To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions
  • To calculate applicable taxes and shipping costs
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements
  • To improve our website, products, and services based on how visitors use our site
  • To follow up after correspondence (email or phone inquiries)
  • To send transactional emails related to your order or account

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Order information: Retained for 7 years to meet US federal and state tax and accounting requirements. After this period, order data is securely deleted unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Contact form submissions: Retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: Retained until you unsubscribe. Your email address is removed from our active mailing list within 10 business days of your unsubscribe request.
  • Comments and reviews: Retained indefinitely to enable automatic recognition of follow-up comments.
  • Analytics data: Retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (26 months).

Cookies and CookieYes Consent Management

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as items in your shopping cart or your login status — to improve your experience on return visits.

How LTW Uses CookieYes to Manage Cookie Consent

Our website uses CookieYes, a third-party Consent Management Platform (CMP), to manage cookie consent in accordance with applicable US privacy laws including CalOPPA and the CCPA.

When you first visit LTW1.com, CookieYes displays a cookie consent banner that:

  • Informs you of the categories of cookies in use on our website
  • Allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category
  • Records and stores your consent choice so it can be honored on future visits
  • Allows you to change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie Settings icon at the bottom left of any page

CookieYes itself sets a cookie named cookieyes-consent to remember your consent preferences. This cookie contains only your consent choices and does not collect personal data for advertising or tracking purposes. It expires after 365 days, after which your preferences will be requested again.

Update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the round cookie icon in the bottom left corner any page on LTW1.com.

Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They include cookies that:

  • Enable you to log in and maintain a session
  • Remember items in your shopping cart
  • Support site security and fraud prevention

No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.

Functional Cookies

These cookies allow the site to remember your choices (such as display preferences) and provide enhanced features. They do not track your browsing activity across other websites.

Analytics and Performance Cookies

These cookies collect anonymized data about how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are visited most often. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. This data helps us improve our site and user experience. These cookies require your consent.

Third-Party Embed Cookies (YouTube)

Our website may include embedded YouTube videos. When you interact with a YouTube embed, YouTube (operated by Google LLC) may set cookies on your device and collect data about your interaction. If you are logged into your YouTube account, this activity may be associated with your profile. You can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before visiting our site. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

How to Manage or Disable Cookies

In addition to the CookieYes preference center, you can manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of our website, including your ability to add items to your cart or log in.

Browser-specific cookie management guides:

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with third-party companies that help us operate our website and fulfill orders. These include:

  • Shipping providers: We share your name and shipping address with carriers to fulfill your order.
  • Payment processors: See Payment Processing below.
  • Email service providers: Used to send order confirmations, transactional emails, and our newsletter.
  • Analytics providers: Google Analytics receives anonymized usage data.
  • CookieYes: Receives and stores your cookie consent preferences. CookieYes does not use this data for advertising.

All service providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential and may not use it for any purpose other than providing services to LTW.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of LTW, our customers, or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via a notice on our website.

Aggregated, Non-Personal Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized data (such as overall site traffic statistics) with third parties for business or research purposes. This data cannot be used to identify you.

Payment Processing

We accept payments through Authorize.Net. When you complete a purchase, relevant payment information — including your name, billing address, and purchase total — is passed to Authorize.Net to process the transaction securely.

LTW does not store or process credit card numbers on our servers. All payment transactions are handled by our payment gateway provider. For more information, see their website.

How We Protect Your Data

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our website
  • Restricted access — only team members who need it to fulfill orders or provide support can access personal data
  • Regular malware scanning of our website and hosting environment
  • PCI-compliant payment processing — card details are never stored on our servers

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Your Privacy Rights

Access, Correction, and Deletion

If you have an account on our website or have left a comment, you have the right to:

  • Request an export of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to our legal retention obligations)

To exercise these rights, log in to your account or contact us at Sales@LTW1.com or 1 (269) 674-8877.

Email Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing Sales@LTW1.com. You will continue to receive transactional emails related to active orders even after opting out of marketing.

Cookie Preferences

You may update your cookie consent preferences at any time using the CookieYes icon in the bottom left of any page. See Cookies and CookieYes Consent Management for full details.

California Residents — CalOPPA and CCPA Rights

California residents have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • The right to know what personal information we collect and why
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (LTW does not sell personal information)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To submit a CCPA request, email Sales@LTW1.com or call 1 (269) 674-8877. We will respond within 45 days. In accordance with CalOPPA, users may visit our website anonymously, and our Privacy Policy link is accessible from every page.

Do Not Track (DNT) Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is currently no industry-wide standard for interpreting DNT signals, our website does not alter its data collection practices in response to them. You can control data collection through the CookieYes consent banner and your browser settings.

Third-Party Services We Use

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymized website usage data. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your device and how you interact with our site. Data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

YouTube

Some pages on LTW1.com include embedded YouTube videos (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066 — operated by Google LLC). When you interact with an embedded video, a connection is made to YouTube’s servers and YouTube may set cookies on your device. If you are logged into a Google account, this activity may be associated with your profile. You can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before visiting our site. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts

Our website uses Google Fonts for consistent typography. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google’s servers to download the required fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not use font requests for advertising. See Google Fonts FAQ and the Google Privacy Policy.

Authorize.Net

We use Authorize.Net to process payments. See Payment Processing above. Authorize.Net Privacy Statement.

CookieYes

We use CookieYes as our Consent Management Platform. CookieYes manages the cookie consent banner and settings interface on LTW1.com. It stores your consent preferences and does not use that data for advertising. CookieYes Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we have no responsibility for their content or practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Email Communications and CAN-SPAM Compliance

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, LTW agrees to the following for all commercial emails:

  • We do not use false or misleading subject lines or sender information
  • All marketing emails are clearly identified as advertisements where applicable
  • Every marketing email includes our physical mailing address
  • Every marketing email includes a clear, easy-to-use unsubscribe link
  • We honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
  • We do not send emails to purchased lists

To unsubscribe from all LTW marketing emails, email Sales@LTW1.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line, or use the unsubscribe link in any LTW email.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our website is intended for business and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at Sales@LTW1.com and we will promptly delete it.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals via email within 7 business days of discovering the breach, to the extent required by applicable law. Notification will describe the nature of the breach, what information was affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.

CAD Models and Technical Files Disclaimer

3D CAD models, prints, and related technical files available on LTW1.com are provided for reference purposes only. They do not contain proprietary technical information beyond what is observable or supplied by our vendors, and are subject to change without notice.

Product dimensions and specifications may vary from those shown in CAD models due to manufacturing tolerances. Your use of CAD models and prints is at your own risk. LTW makes no express or implied warranty regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights with respect to these files.

CAD models may be downloaded and shared within your organization or with third parties working on your behalf, solely for the purpose of evaluating or purchasing LTW products. CAD models may not be used to reproduce, fabricate, or 3D-print LTW products, and may not be redistributed to competitors or third parties for commercial use. LTW reserves the right to revoke access to CAD files at any time.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will post a notice on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
